Scio � State Route 19 head-on crash injures one
(photo courtesy of Scio fire) Saturday at about 4 p.m., Scio
fire, Wellsville ambulance and trooper were called to a two-vehicle head-on
crash on State Route 19 in the vicinity of the �big bend.� According to Scio
fire, �upon arrival one of the two cars required the jaws for extraction to
help remove one patient from the vehicle. Both the driver�s door and rear driver�s
door as well as the B post were removed to help with patient extraction.� Duke
hose of Wellsville assisted by closing route 19 at Vossler Road. Wellsville EMS
transported the injured to Jones Memorial Hospital.
