Allegany County Undersheriff Walter Mackney reports:
On 03/07/2025 Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff�s Office arrested MICHAEL A. OSBY, AGE 39, OF 106 North 10th Street Olean, NY on charges of Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree (Class D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (Class A Misdemeanor). The charges stem from an incident which occurred on 08/30/2024 at the Allegany County Jail when OSBY was found to be in possession of suspected cocaine. OSBY was arraigned in CAP on 03/08/2025 and remains in custody at the Allegany County Jail.
On 03/07/2025 Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff�s Office arrested JONATHAN O�SHELL, age 38, of 1720 Meservey Hill Rd. Wellsville, NY for Promoting Prison Contraband 1st Degree (Class D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree (Class D Felony). The charges stem from an incident which occurred 03/07/2025 at the Allegany County Jail in which O�SHELL was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected suboxone with intent to sell the same. O�SHELL was arraigned in CAP on 03/08/2025 and remains in custody at the Allegany County jail.
